A festive festival on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (May Allah hasten his return)

The College of Medicine at Wasit University holds a festive festival on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Imam al-Mahdi (May Allah hasten his joy) To commemorate and celebrate the anniversary of the birth of the saviour of mankind, the owner of the age and time, al-Mahdi (May Allah hasten his joy), under the auspices of Assistant Professor Dr. Naseer Kazim al-Maliki, Dean of the College of Medicine at Wasit University, and in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Shihab Ahmed, Assistant Rector for Administrative Affairs, a festive festival was held in the hall of Dr Atta Kati in the college on this auspicious occasion, in the presence of the Dean and heads of departments and several teachers and employees of the college and a large crowd of students. On Wednesday, 12 February 2025. The celebration was organised by a group of students and the rest of the college’s departments. The celebration witnessed many events, which began with a speech by the Dean of the college in which he spoke about the importance of the occasion, during which he offered sincere congratulations and blessings on this auspicious occasion on the hearts of the world and Muslims in particular, indicating the depth of loyalty and love for the seat of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) and the great religious authorities, stressing the great role of Imam Mahdi (Ajl Allah Farajah) as he is the pilgrimage of Allah on earth. He pointed out the importance of his birth, through which God’s light shines on the earth with justice, goodness and security. He added that if the earth shone with the light of its Lord on the day of the birth of Imam Mahdi, the people of heaven also rejoiced and were blessed by this great event. The ceremony also included the reading of verses from the Holy Quran, a valuable intellectual lecture and the reading of poems and poems about the awaited Imam, and the ceremony concluded with the participation of chants and songs that sang the love of the Imam and his auspicious birth.
