Activating the Memorandum of Understanding and Scientific Cooperation with the College of Medicine – Al-Ameed University

Within the framework of the memorandum of understanding and scientific and research cooperation signed between the College of Medicine at Wasit University and the College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University in the holy city of Karbala, a delegation headed by Professor Dr. Hassan Nasrallah, Dean of the College of Medicine, Al-Ameed, and Professor Dr. Hussam Majeed Zuwaini, with the National Accreditation Team of the College of Medicine, Al-Ameed, visited our college in a scientific forum to exchange academic and scientific experiences and provide advice on obtaining national accreditation after the College of Medicine, Wasit, obtained full accreditation in 2024. The meeting included holding seminars, workshops, and visits to laboratories and classrooms. The activation of the provisions of the memorandum of scientific, research and academic cooperation between the two colleges was also signed. The President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Abbas Lafta Kaniher, and Professor Dr. Subaih Lafta, Scientific Assistant to the President of the University, met with the visiting delegation and expressed the importance of scientific and research communication between Iraqi universities. The Governor of Wasit, Professor Dr. Muhammad Jamil Al-Mayahhi, attended part of the meeting and welcomed the honorable guests.
