Under the patronage of the President of Wasit University, Prof. Mazen Al-Hassani, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nasir Al-Maliki, and the Vice Deans, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim and Assist. Prof. Dr. Salem Raheef, our college organized a scientific symposium as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities, in collaboration with the Technology Incubator Unit of our college and Wasit University.

The symposium focused on leadership in achieving international accreditation. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Insaf, the Scientific Assistant of our college, delivered a presentation on the methods adopted by the National Accreditation Team to secure full accreditation for three years. Additionally, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hassan Akreem, the Head of the Graduate Studies Division, presented a scientific lecture on developing electronic services within the division.

The events also included a scientific and cultural bazaar showcasing various student activities. A ministerial committee attended the events, led by Lecturer Maha Abbas from the University of Diyala, along with Dr. Hussam Abdul Latif Mohi and Lecturer Mustafa Saeed Mahdi. The activities were supervised by Dr. Ikhlas Majeed Hamid, the Head of the Technology Incubator, and Lecturer Jassim Jabara, the Head of Student Activities at our college.

This initiative serves as a platform to support students in enhancing their skills and encouraging them to develop their capabilities in launching personal projects that aid their academic and professional journeys
