College Council Meeting at the Start of the New Academic Year

In the presence of the respected Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, and the assistants, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, the scientific assistant, and Mr. Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Rahif, the administrative assistant, and the heads of the branches in our college, the regular session of the college council was held. At the beginning, Surat Al-Fatihah was recited for the martyrs of the massacres in Lebanon and Palestine and the blatant aggression against them by the Zionist entity was condemned. During the session, a number of important matters were discussed, including: 1. Following up on the level of students who show delays in their academic level and activating the role of educational guidance in providing assistance to them. 2. Holding educational courses and training workshops on modern medical education for newly appointed teachers and assistants in our college. 3. Providing the required devices and equipment to develop educational laboratories and classrooms. 4. Preparing questions and submitting them to the ministerial question bank in preparation for the second round exams for the sixth stage scheduled to be held in January 2024. The Dean praised the preparations and efforts made by the assistants and medical education officials at the beginning of the academic year in order to advance the scientific and academic reality in our college.
