Cooperation with Wasit Health Office

Based on the memorandum of understanding and cooperation signed between the College of Medicine at Wasit University and Wasit Health Department, a team of the assistants of the College of Medicine for scientific and administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Kazim, Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Raheef, and Assistant Professor Dr. Taqi Muhammad, Head of the Community Medicine Branch at the College of Medicine, visited the Public Health Department in Wasit Health Department. A meeting was held with Dr. Sundus Abdul Hassan Al-Lami, Head of the Public Health Department, Dr. Hassanein Ali Al-Saeedi, Dr. Asaad Naseef, and a number of doctors and officials of primary health care units. At the beginning of the meeting, the Deanship of the College of Medicine praised the effective and supportive role provided by the Wasit Health Department and the Public Health Department in training students in health centers and teaching hospitals. Several topics were discussed, including preparing and achieving the requirements of the primary health care course for students of the College of Medicine, preparing a plan to conduct joint research between the College of Medicine and the Wasit Health Department, participating in qualification and employment courses for graduates of the College of Medicine, and reviewing feedback from our college graduates and officials in the Health Department to develop the outputs of the College of Medicine.
