The College of Medicine at Wasit University held the first symposium within the basic medical education course to develop the skills of newly appointed teachers and teaching assistants. It is one of the activities of the Continuing Education and E-Learning Unit in our college. Prof. Dr. Hussam Majeed Al-Zuwaini gave the first lecture on medical education strategies and how to choose the correct modern scientific methods for learning and their differences from traditional methods in education. It is the first symposium in a series of symposia prepared within the basic medical education course for three weeks, two days a week. The course was opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Naseer Kazim Al-Maliki, Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Asst.
