The College of Medicine at Wasit University Organizes a Graduation Ceremony for Its Students
In an atmosphere filled with joy and celebration, the College of Medicine at Wasit University hosted a graduation ceremony for its sixth-year students in the college gardens. The event was held under the patronage and presence of the university’s representative, Professor Dr. Sabih Lafta Farhan, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, along with the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazem Al-Maliki, members of the college council, and a large number of students’ families.
In his speech, Dr. Al-Maliki welcomed the attendees, including faculty members and the families of the graduating students. He emphasized the importance of practicing medicine as a means of providing humanitarian service, describing the medical profession as one rooted in humanity. He highlighted the necessity for medical practitioners to uphold high ethical standards.
Dr. Al-Maliki also encouraged the organization of graduation ceremonies that reflect the dignity of the academic environment and align with public decorum.
