Linguistic Corrections for Common Errors in Official Correspondence

The College of Medicine at the University of Wasit held a course on “Linguistic Corrections for Common Errors in Official Correspondence.”

The course, presented by Lecturer Dr. Suad Ashour Salman, focused on identifying common errors that employees encounter in official correspondence, understanding the reasons behind these mistakes, and contributing to their avoidance. It aimed to enhance the correct use of spelling skills in writing, develop linguistic proficiency, and select appropriate vocabulary free from errors when drafting official documents.

The course sought to improve employees’ language skills, provide opportunities to participate in workshops and seminars related to language accuracy, and highlight and correct linguistic mistakes.
