The Faculty Council holds its tenth meeting to discuss the recommendations of the University Presidency on modern automation The [College of Medicine] Council of Wasit University held its tenth meeting under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr Naseer Kazim Al-Maliki, and the presence of members of the Council to discuss a number of important issues related to the academic and administrative workflow in the College. The meeting addressed the recommendations of the University Presidency regarding modern automation systems, where they discussed ways to accelerate their implementation to ensure improved administrative and academic performance. The Council also discussed the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the mechanisms for their implementation to contribute to the development of the educational process, as well as a number of scientific and administrative issues related to the college, including curriculum development, promoting scientific research and improving the work environment within the college. The Chairman of the Council emphasised the importance of cooperation between the scientific and administrative departments to ensure optimal implementation of the recommendations, stressing the need to keep abreast of technological developments to enhance the quality of education and services provided to students. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to follow up the implementation of decisions and recommendations and hold periodic meetings to ensure the achievement of the desired goals
