Branch Vision:
The branch’s vision is to make medical school students familiar with theoretical knowledge and concepts about gynecological diseases and pregnancy complications on the one hand, and have good practical experience in this field on the other hand, which qualifies them to deal with emergency and critical cases in gynecology and obstetrics.
Branch Mission:
Preparing distinguished doctors in the field of treating pregnancy cases, its complications and various gynecological diseases in the best and correct way, and keeping pace with the scientific developments in this field, as well as graduating postgraduate students (higher diploma) in gynecology and obstetrics.
Branch Objectives:
• Ensuring that society is provided with a group of competent and scientifically and ethically distinguished doctors for the purpose of improving the health reality of society through training and teaching students in undergraduate and graduate studies.
• Working on developing the scientific and practical skills of teachers and communicating with all developments in the field of education and health through participation in conferences and scientific and training courses inside and outside the country.
• Training and developing clinical and diagnostic skills for undergraduate students in gynecology
• Training and developing postgraduate students.
• Activating the research aspect among undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Communicating with the women’s departments in other medical colleges and participating in other colleges’ exams.
• Activating the research aspect among the department’s professors.
