About the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit

It is an administrative entity titled “Rehabilitation and Development and Employment Unit”, dedicated to connecting with graduates and college students in general, and preparing them for employment through a range of programs and workshops. It also focuses on bridging the gap between students and the job market, which includes the government sector, as well as local and international private sectors, by promoting their skills to potential employers. This unit contributes to building an advanced society that serves as a foundation for all state institutions, enabling them to keep pace with professional advancements and updating the knowledge provided to students to enhance their capabilities, ultimately positioning them for future employment to benefit the country.

The unit aims to assist graduates and students in developing and building their personal, scientific, practical, and life skills in alignment with the demands of the job market. This provides them with opportunities to compete for employment after graduation in both the public and private sectors, whether locally or internationally. Additionally, the unit works on promoting the culture of the private sector’s importance and alleviating the burden on the public sector.

  • Create databases for students and graduates who wish to engage in the qualification and employment programs.
  • Develop databases for institutions and private sector companies, including information about the organization’s activities, work locations, required specializations, and contact points.
  • Organize and implement workshops and courses for the Career Development and Employment Unit.
  • Design and implement practical training programs for students and graduates (practical application of academic and scientific aspects) in coordination and collaboration with public and private sector institutions.
  • Organize seminars, conferences, and workshops that bring together students, graduates, the job market, faculty members, and teaching staff to exchange ideas.

  • Prepare statistics that provide indicators on the number of trainees, their specializations, and the percentage of those who were employed.
