As part of the scholarships offered by the “Study in Iraq” program and under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the President of Wasit University, Prof. Dr. Abbas Lafta Kniher, and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nasir Kazem Al-Maliki, the College of Medicine at Wasit University welcomed its first student from the brotherly country of Yemen to join the students of Wasit Medical College.
The student, Moatasem Khaled, was received by Dr. Mohammed Munee’, Head of the Scholarships and Relations Division in our college.
This initiative aims to foster trust and build bridges of academic collaboration between Iraqi universities and other parts of the Arab world and neighboring countries.
