The Scientific Event: Infection and Disease Module

The College of Medicine at Wasit University Holds a “Presentation of Scientific Discussions for the Infection and Disease Module”

Under the direct supervision of the Vice Deans, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Raheef Al-Aidi, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Kareem, along with the faculty of the Department of Medical Microbiology, the College of Medicine organized a presentation as part of the Infection and Disease Module – Medical Education for third-year students.

The student festival and scientific discussions were honored by the support and attendance of the University President, Professor Dr. Abbas Lafta Al-Aqabi, and the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Sabih Lafta. During the event, the University President observed the students’ presentations and the evaluations conducted by the academic committees.

Dr. Abbas Al-Aqabi praised the academic standards and achievements of the College of Medicine, highlighting its scientific progress and infrastructural developments. He also commended the students for their efforts, encouraging them to pursue creativity and academic excellence.

At the conclusion of the event, the Vice Deans presented a wreath to the University President on behalf of the college administration, teaching staff, employees, and students to congratulate him on his appointment as University President. They expressed their aspirations for his continued support, aiming to propel the college toward a new phase of development and significant scientific advancement across various fields.
