The College of Medicine Hosts the First Scientific Forum on Wasit Governorate Day

The auditorium of the College of Medicine at Wasit University witnessed the activities of the First Scientific Forum, held under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, alongside the Governor of Wasit, the President of Wasit University, and a number of vice presidents, deans, officials, and academics.

The scientific forum was inaugurated in a distinguished academic atmosphere aimed at enhancing the university’s role in serving the community and advancing scientific research. The forum featured the presentation of studies and research aimed at addressing the challenges facing academic institutions and strengthening the partnership between the university and the local community.

In his speech, His Excellency the Minister praised the efforts of Wasit University and its colleges in organizing such events, which contribute to supporting the future vision of higher education in Iraq.
