Dean of Wasit University College of Medicine participates in meeting of the Presidency of the Council of Deans of Medical Colleges in Baghdad
The Dean of Wasit University College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Jawad Al-Maliki, participated in the meeting of the Presidency of the Council of Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq, which was held in the capital Baghdad with the broad participation of deans and representatives of all Iraqi medical colleges.
Dr. Al-Maliki’s participation confirmed the active role played by Wasit University’s Faculty of Medicine in supporting scientific and medical progress and strengthening coordination between Iraqi medical faculties, thereby contributing to the advancement of medical education and community service.
The meeting was held at the same time as the creativity award exam for top students in medical schools, which affected attendance levels. However, the meeting was characterised by a high level of focus and in-depth scientific and professional discussions, resulting in a number of positive points that will contribute to the development of medical education and improve its outcomes.
This participation reflects the distinguished presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University and his constant keenness to represent the faculty and the university in a honourable manner in scientific and national forums, thereby enhancing its status among its counterparts among Iraqi medical faculties.
