Wasit University honours outstanding colleges and reviews their achievements in light of the strategic themes of the Ministry of Higher Education
Under the patronage of the President of Wasit University, Prof. Abbas Lfta Al-Aqabi, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division organised a festival to honour outstanding colleges, as part of a review of the university’s achievements in light of the strategic themes set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, and a number of college deans and university officials. During the ceremony, the colleges that achieved outstanding results in quality assurance and institutional accreditation standards were commended.
In his speech, the university president emphasised that this award is the culmination of the faculties’ efforts to improve academic and administrative performance and the university’s keenness to keep pace with developments in the areas of quality and accreditation.
