A delegation from Wasit University meets with scholars at the two holy shrines
A delegation from Wasit University, headed by Professor Abbas Laftah Al-Aqabi, President of the University, and including Scientific Assistant Professor Sabih Laftah Al-Zubaidi, the administrative assistant of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Salim Rahif Al-Aidi, and lecturer at the College of Medicine Dr. Saleh Salman, and a number of academics, with Mr. Jaafar Al-Hakim and a group of scholars participating in the missionary project at the holy shrines of Hussein and Abbas.
During the meeting, Dr. Salim Rahif Al-Aidi spoke about the importance of benefiting from the experiences and values embodied in the Arbaeen pilgrimage in promoting teamwork and community service, emphasising the need to invest this spiritual momentum in supporting the educational and academic process.
The meeting addressed the role of the Arbaeen pilgrimage and religious rituals in establishing positive values and the possibility of employing them in various fields, emphasising the importance of communication between the academic community and the scientific community in serving society and developing the educational process.
