The Arabic Language Module, in collaboration with the Cultural Activities Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, held a cultural festival to celebrate World Arabic Language Day.
The festival was sponsored by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, and supervised by Dr. Hayat Ali Hussein and Dr. Suad Ashour Salman. It was attended by the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Insaf. The festival included various cultural activities that reflected the status and importance of the Arabic language in strengthening the cultural and intellectual identity of first-year students through literary segments, language presentations, and meaningful interactive activities.
At the conclusion of the festival, the organisers emphasised the Faculty of Medicine’s keenness to support cultural activities alongside the scientific process, given their active role in developing students’ skills, strengthening their connection to their mother tongue, and consolidating the values of creativity and cultural belonging.
