The College of Medicine at the University of Wasit, under the presence of the Dean, Dr. Nasir Al-Maliki, conducted apractical lecture for the Immunity and Disease Module. The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Raheef Al-Aidi. The aim of the lecture was to address biological and chemical security and laboratory handling, including the risks of biological safety, accidental infections, and unauthorized access. The lecture defined biosafety as the prevention of biological health loss, in addition to emphasizing strict guidelines that must be followed
