The scientific symposium, entitled ‘Stupor and Psychological Calmness Prior to Suicide: A Dynamic Psychological Approach with Clinical Implications,’ shed light on one of the sensitive psychological issues that has become a focus of attention in medical and academic circles. The symposium was attended by a group of faculty members, students, and interested parties.
Consultant Dr. Mahdi Abdulkarim, the symposium lecturer, presented a distinguished scientific summary in which he addressed the dimensions of the state of stupor and its accompanying psychological and clinical indicators, with an analytical approach to the pre-suicide stage, thereby contributing to enhancing scientific understanding and developing sound treatments for these phenomena.
