The Microbiology Department, in collaboration with the Volunteer Work Unit, held an awareness workshop entitled:
‘Disease vectors and the diseases they transmit’
🔹 The workshop was presented by:
Assistant Professor Dr. Baraa Abdulsalam
• Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Shaker
• Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassq Jabr
🔹 The workshop introduced the most important disease vectors, such as mosquitoes, flies, ticks, and fleas, and explained the diseases they transmit and how they spread, in addition to prevention and control methods and promoting health awareness among students.
The workshop aimed to raise the level of health awareness and prevent vector-borne diseases in order to protect the safety of the community
