The aim of the study was to diagnose some primary intestinal parasites and detect the virulence factors of these parasites in children with diarrhoea in the city of Kut.
The study recommends the use of molecular methods in diagnosing infection to detect the factors causing diarrhoea in cases of intestinal parasite infection, and improving sanitation and good hygiene, including thorough hand washing and washing vegetables and fruits.
Regular inspection of RO water purification plants, taking into account the cleanliness of the premises and workers, and conducting awareness campaigns to reduce complications of the disease
