Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, and under the supervision of Dr. Aida Hamid Hassan, the College of Medicine at Wasit University, in cooperation with the Public Partnership and Community Service Unit at the University Presidency, organised a ceremony to honour a group of students benefiting from the Iraqi Creativity House, the Wasit Institute for Orphan Care, and the Al-Nour Institute for the Care of the Blind and Visually Impaired. and the visually impaired. The ceremony featured a number of diverse activities held to celebrate the students’ success and excellence during the past academic year in an atmosphere of joy and moral support. This initiative is part of a series of activities through which the college and the university aim to build effective partnerships with state institutions and civil society organisations to support children in their educational journey and encourage them to continue their education and achieve excellence for a better future for themselves and for Iraq. The attendees expressed their happiness at sharing the children’s joy and success, while the college administration affirmed its continued support for such humanitarian and community initiatives.
