In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

{Every soul shall taste death}

With hearts that believe in God’s decree and destiny, and with deep sorrow and grief, the College of Medicine at Wasit University, represented by its dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, his assistants, and the faculty and staff, mourns the loss of the late Dr. Zainab Al-Gharbawi, who passed away with her family members following the tragic fire that broke out in one of the elevators of the Hypermarket Al-Kut building.

The deceased was a model of humanity and generosity, providing free medical services during the holy month of Muharram through her private clinic, thereby fulfilling the noble mission of medicine in its highest form.

We offer our sincere condolences and sympathy to her family and loved ones, asking God Almighty to envelop them in His mercy, grant them a place in His paradise, and inspire their families and loved ones with patience and solace.

We belong to God and to Him we shall return.
