With deep sadness and sorrow, the College of Medicine at Wasit University, represented by its dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, and his assistants, and members of the teaching and administrative staff, extend their deepest condolences and sincerest sympathy to Professor Dr. Nasir Abdul Karim Al-Quraishi, Director of Al-Zahra Teaching Hospital, on the tragic death of his young son (Laith) in the devastating fire that occurred at the Corniche Hypermarket in the city of Al-Kut.
This great loss, which has pained us all, cannot be measured in words, and can only be endured by faithful hearts with patience and prayer. We ask Allah Almighty to envelop the deceased in His vast mercy, to inspire his family with patience and solace, and to protect them from all harm. He is All-Hearing and All-Responding.
We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
