Teaching participation from Wasit University Faculty of Medicine as an external resident for the educational process at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Dohuk. The evaluation was carried out by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Razzaq Al-Bahadli in coordination with the RCP IRAQI NETWORK, a network of doctors in the United Kingdom.
The visit took place from 18 to 20 January. The visit began with the resident being welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Dohuk, followed by a field tour of the relevant departments, including the Medical Education Department and the Examination Committee. The resident then began his official work in the Examination Question Integrity Committee, where the committee’s role in coordinating the modules for the preparation of integrated questions was discussed. The exam blueprint was also discussed in a joint session with the head of the Medical Education Department and members of the Exam Question Integrity Committee.
The following day, the work moved to the Examination Committee, where exam question models and statistical analysis mechanisms for results were reviewed and evaluated in terms of robustness, consistency, and level of difficulty. The visit also included a tour of the OSCE clinical examination site, which was organised in the form of separate rooms equipped with all the necessary supplies for students and professors.
