The Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University held a graduation ceremony for sixth-year students in a festive atmosphere that reflected the magnitude of the efforts made during the six years of study. The faculty welcomed the students’ families in a manner befitting this important occasion, and they were greeted in an exemplary manner in the presence of the university president and the dean of the faculty.
The ceremony was attended by the President of Wasit University, Prof. Abbas Lfta Kenih Al-Aqabi, the Scientific Assistant to the University President, Prof. Sabih Lfta, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Prof. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, the Scientific Assistant to the Dean, Prof. Ahmed Ibrahim Ansaf, and the Administrative Assistant to the Dean, Assistant Prof. Salim Rahif Al-Aidi.
In his speech during the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, welcomed the students’ families, expressing his pride and appreciation for the graduates and praising the great efforts they had made throughout their six years of study to achieve academic and intellectual excellence in this precise field, emphasising that medicine is one of the most noble professions that directly serve society and represent a combination of science, work and humanitarian mission.
The Dean of the Faculty emphasised that this day represents the fruit of long labour and the beginning of a new phase for graduates in serving their country and society, wishing them a bright future full of generosity and success.
