The Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University takes part in Pharmacists’ Day celebrations at Al-Kut University
The Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University took part in the celebrations organised by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Kut University to mark World Pharmacists’ Day. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr Nasir Kazim al-Maliki, and the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr Salim Rahif al-Aidi
The celebration was attended by a number of academic figures, teaching staff and those with an interest in pharmacy, during which the importance of the pharmacy profession and its vital role in supporting the healthcare system were highlighted, as were efforts aimed at developing the pharmaceutical sector and ensuring the provision of medicines by Iraqi professionals capable of serving the community
The event included a number of segments that highlighted the importance of academic collaboration between educational and healthcare institutions, and the need to strengthen integration between various medical and pharmaceutical disciplines, thereby contributing to the improvement of healthcare services and supporting scientific progress in Iraq
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr Nasir Kazim al-Maliki, and the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr Salim Rahif al-Aidi, were honoured with commemorative plaques in recognition of their attendance and participation in this distinguished scientific event
