Within the framework of enhancing community and humanitarian cooperation, a delegation from the College of Medicine, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Naseer Kazim Al-Malki, Dean of the College, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Raheef Al-Aidi, Administrative Assistant, and a number of teachers and employees, visited Al-Ain Foundation for Orphan Care in Wasit Governorate.
The visit aims to review the services provided to orphans, identify their needs, and discuss ways of cooperation to support the institution in providing the best care for the children. The delegation toured the Foundation’s departments and listened to a detailed explanation of the educational, health and social programs provided by the Foundation to care for orphans and ensure their future.
Dr. Naseer Kazim Al-Maliki praised the great efforts exerted by Al Ain Foundation in providing a suitable environment that contributes to the upbringing, education and rehabilitation of orphans, stressing that the College of Medicine is keen to support these initiatives through cooperation in the fields of health care and medical education.
Dr. Salem Raheef Al-Ayedi also stressed the importance of activating community partnerships between academic institutions and humanitarian organizations, stressing the college’s readiness to provide the necessary support through health awareness campaigns, medical examinations, and educational activities that benefit the orphans.
At the conclusion of the visit, Al Ain Foundation officials expressed their thanks and appreciation to the College of Medicine delegation for their interest and support, stressing that such initiatives promote social solidarity and contribute to improving the lives of orphans and taking better care of them
