Under the patronage of the President of Wasit University, Professor Dr Abbas Lafteh Al-Aqabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Wasit University, the One-Day Symposium for Infectious Diseases and Medical Molecules was held at the Great Hall. The symposium witnessed the presentation of distinguished research projects by postgraduate students in the branch of medical microbiology with the participation of all the professors of the branch and the presence of the assistants of the university president, the dean of the college and a number of teachers and participating students. The symposium included the presentation of scientific posters in which the students addressed their recent research products that won the admiration of those present due to their modernity and medical and scientific importance, where the scientific assistant praised these efforts and stressed the importance of continuing to adopt these projects and ensure that they keep pace with scientific and research development in the Faculty of Medicine and enhance the university’s academic march and research
