The University of Wasit – College of Medicine remembered with heavy hearts and faithful souls the painful memory of the passing of the master of all creatures, the light of guidance, and the intercessor of the nation, the greatest prophet Muhammad ibn Abdullah, peace be upon him and his family, on the day when humanity lost the greatest leader it has ever known.

On this painful occasion, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, his assistants, and the teaching and administrative staff offer their deepest condolences and sympathy to the Imam Al-Mahdi, may God hasten his reappearance, and to the entire Islamic nation, renewing their pledge to adhere to the biography of the Holy Prophet and his noble values.

The College of Medicine affirmed that the memory of this tragic event is a moment of faith to renew the covenant with God and His Messenger to walk the path of guidance, mercy, and justice, asking God Almighty to envelop the Islamic nation in His vast mercy and to magnify the reward for all in this great calamity.
