The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, participated in the graduation ceremony for recent graduates.
The Medical Association concluded its second phase of cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University and the Wasit Health Department by organising a course for recent graduates, which included important topics such as dealing with critical and emergency cases, methods of communicating with patients, legal aspects of medical practice, in addition to the tasks and duties of the resident doctor and mechanisms for enhancing professional performance in hospitals.
The closing ceremony was attended by Dr Khalid Abdul Abbas, President of the Medical Association, and Dr Saadoun Al-Amir, Director of the Wasit Health Department, while the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, supervised the recitation of the medical oath by the new doctors. In his speech, Al-Maliki emphasised the importance of these courses in honing the skills of graduates and boosting their confidence in practical practice, stressing the college’s continued support for cooperation with the Medical Association and the Health Department.
The Medical Association thus continues its efforts to prepare and qualify young medical cadres to serve the community.
