Faculty of Medicine organises course on the impact of the BRICS currency on the dollar and the future of American hegemony
Under the auspices of the Wasit University Centre for Strategic Studies and in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, a training course entitled ‘The Impact of the BRICS Currency on the Dollar and the Future of American Hegemony’ was held at the Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University, with the participation of a group of faculty members.
The course aimed to clarify the future of the dollar and its fluctuations and their impact on the political and economic situation in Iraq, as well as to highlight the importance of Iraq’s strategic location in the region’s economic and political equations.
The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Karim Jaber Khalaf, Lecturer Dr. Asil Mahmoud Lfta, and Assistant Lecturer Amal Nahwi, and resulted in a set of recommendations, most notably the need for political decisions in Iraq to be bold and independent, away from unclear policies, with an emphasis on putting the interests of the nation first.
