Awareness workshop

Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Nasir Kazim Jawad, the College of Medicine at Wasit University held an awareness workshop entitled:

The workshop aims to promote health awareness about early detection of breast cancer and highlight its importance in prevention and early treatment, in addition to explaining how to perform a breast self-examination and explaining the latest diagnostic methods and tests available, along with risk factors and the latest statistics in this regard.
This event is part of an awareness campaign organised by the college during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with a view to ensuring the safety of the community and encouraging early detection, which saves lives 💗
The workshop, which was attended by a group of faculty members and affiliates, recommended the need to be aware of risk factors, learn methods of early detection, and recognise changes that require consultation with a specialist
