My School Initiative

College of Medicine embodies its humanitarian mission in the ‘My School’ initiative
Based on the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the patronage of Professor Abbas Lfta Al-Aqabi, President of Wasit University, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, and in cooperation with the Student Activities Division and the Volunteer Work Unit, the College of Medicine participated today, 29/10/2025, in the ‘My School’ initiative to support education and care for orphaned and needy students.
🩵 A delegation from the college, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, Dean of the College, and a number of college faculty members, visited Al-Farah Elementary School in the city of Al-Kut, where school bags and stationery were distributed to orphaned and needy students at the start of the new school year.
This initiative embodies the college’s mission to promote the values of giving and social responsibility and to instil a spirit of cooperation and human solidarity in the service of society and the educational process.
