Participation of the Faculty of Medicine

Under the patronage of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein and with the direct support of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Insaf, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Salim Rahif Al-Aidi, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, the Faculty of Medicine participated in the activities of the International Conference on Clinical Biochemistry Research.
The faculty participated by presenting a scientific research paper by student Zainab Jamil Naim, supervised by Dr Abbas Abboud, entitled:
Evaluation of Malinodialdehyde (MDA) as a Predictive Biochemical Marker of Prediabetes in Iraqi Patients
The research was praised by the conference’s scientific committee, and the student was honoured with a shield of excellence in recognition of her efforts and her excellence and creativity in the field of scientific research, reflecting the advanced level of the Faculty of Medicine’s students and the faculty’s continued support for scientific research and academic achievements.
