The Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University, in collaboration with the Wasit Health Department, organised a field day event showcasing various health, medical and therapeutic services, as well as an exhibition of handicrafts and artworks and awareness brochures on diseases and ways to prevent them. The event witnessed wide participation from the people, department units and college students, amid great interaction from visitors who praised the information and guidance provided.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazem Al-Maliki, and his assistants, who emphasised the importance of such initiatives in establishing a culture of public health, strengthening the university’s role in serving the community, and supporting education and entrepreneurship programmes through practical activities that directly address the needs of citizens.
