The Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University celebrates its valued staff on Labour Day under the theme: ‘Minds that heal… and hands that build’
Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr Nasir Kazim Jawad al-Maliki, a celebration was organised by the Dean’s Office, academic staff and administrative staff, with the participation of students (the ‘Innovators’ student volunteer team), to honour our esteemed staff on their special day, in an atmosphere of camaraderie, love, cooperation and brotherhood.
On International Workers’ Day, we light candles for our colleagues and brothers at the Faculty of Medicine: from security staff, cleaning staff, technicians, and administrative staff.
Our message to you is this: you are the backbone without which the educational and medical process cannot function.
Thanks to your dedication, our Faculty remains a safe, healthy and ideal environment for training the doctors of the future.
Thank you to every hand that builds, cleans and helps… you are true partners in the mission of healing.”
The Faculty of Medicine, represented by its Dean’s Office, teaching staff and students, is committed to promoting the value of teamwork and showing appreciation for support staff (the unsung heroes) as an integral part of the medical and educational system, in order to create a sustainable environment.
