Scientific promotion

On Monday morning, 14 April 2025, the annual central ceremony to honour the university’s professors who have been promoted to new scientific ranks was held in the Dr. Atta Katti Hall at the College of Medicine – Wasit University, in an atmosphere of pride and pride.

The ceremony was organised by the Central Promotions Division at the Wasit University Presidency under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Abbas Liftah Kneeher Al-Aqabi, and in the presence of a number of professors and honourees.

The ceremony began at 10:30 am, during which books of thanks and appreciation were distributed to the promoted, in a step aimed at enhancing academic effort and encouraging scientific research and continuous development.

This honour is an annual tradition that the university is keen to hold to appreciate the efforts of its professors and celebrate their scientific work.
