The Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University discusses master’s students’ research projects in microbiology
Under the patronage and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Salim Rahif Al-Aidi, and the Head of the Microbiology Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Baraa Abdulsalam Harija, the Microbiology Department held a scientific event to discuss master’s students’ research projects before their completion. The discussions were held with the participation of professors from various scientific disciplines within specialised academic committees, where the professors presented their scientific observations with the aim of developing the projects and raising their research level. The branch presidency confirmed that this step is part of the college’s plans to support postgraduate studies and direct research towards addressing health and medical issues that serve the community.
The event concluded by emphasising the importance of these scientific discussions in consolidating student research and enhancing the college’s position in the field of scientific research.
