Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine at Wasit University, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, the College of Medicine organised a distinguished scientific symposium entitled ‘Skin Parasitic Infections, Methods of Diagnosis and Associated Tissue Changes’ in the Continuing Education Hall.
The symposium included scientific lectures delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Baraa Abdulsalam Harija, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahra Jabbar Khalaf, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nada Hamza Sharif, who discussed the latest diagnostic methods for parasitic skin infections, in addition to reviewing the accompanying tissue changes, with a scientific discussion between the lecturers and the audience.
The seminar, which was held at 10 a.m., concluded with a series of scientific recommendations aimed at enhancing research and application in this field, emphasising the role of the College of Medicine at Wasit University in supporting academic progress and developing the expertise of medical staff.
