The Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University marks National Sovereignty Day with a national gathering
The Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University held a national ceremony to mark National Sovereignty Day, attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr Nasir Kazim al-Maliki; the Academic Deputy Dean, Professor Dr Ahmed Ibrahim Ansaf; and the Administrative Deputy Dean, Assistant Professor Dr Salim Rahif al-Aidi; with the participation of a group of academic staff and students
The ceremony served as an expression of pride in the nation, a reaffirmation of the values of sovereignty and national belonging, and a means of fostering a spirit of citizenship amongst students and academic staff.
The Faculty of Medicine emphasised that this national occasion represents an opportunity to strengthen national awareness and consolidate the values of belonging and responsibility towards Iraq, whilst wishing our beloved country continued security, stability and progress.
