The Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Jawad Al-Maliki, participated in the first international conference on hospitals, which was held in the province of Najaf in cooperation between the Najaf Health Department and the Arab Board of Medical Specialties, in partnership with a number of Italian hospital management companies.
The conference was attended by a select group of surgeons from various countries around the world, including European, Asian and Gulf countries. The discussion focused on the latest developments in endoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as microsurgery and modern interventional surgery.
Dr. Al-Maliki emphasised that the participation of Wasit University’s College of Medicine in such international conferences represents an important step in promoting scientific exchange and medical expertise, opening new horizons for Iraqi professionals to learn about the latest developments in global surgical practices.
