Visit to the Swedish doctor

Visit by Swedish doctor Rabih Rahim Al-Sudani to the College of Medicine – University of Wasit
The College of Medicine at Wasit University welcomed Swedish doctor Rabih Rahim Al-Sudani, a specialist in anaesthesia and intensive care, on a scientific inspection visit attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Jawad Al-Maliki, and the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Salim Rahif Al-Aidi.
The purpose of the visit was to learn about the scientific aspects of the faculty. The Swedish doctor gave an introductory lecture on the latest research and modern methods in controlling blood and body temperature in patients with cardiac arrest and beyond, and its role in improving treatment outcomes in critical cases, reviewing the experiences of European centres, especially Swedish ones.
The meeting also discussed modern educational methods in Swedish College of Medicine, blended learning methods, and the use of small groups in solving clinical problems, which contributes to the development of educational curricula and the improvement of students’ practical skills.
