The Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University organises a scientific workshop on immune balance and self-tolerance
Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, the College of Medicine held an academic scientific workshop entitled ‘From Self-Recognition to Autoimmunity: The Role of Peripheral Tolerance in Immune Balance’ in the college’s e-learning hall.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ali Salman Al-Kaabi and Assistant Lecturer Rana Hamad Saleh. It addressed modern concepts in immunology, mechanisms for maintaining immune system balance, and the role of peripheral tolerance in preventing autoimmune diseases.
The workshop aimed to deepen the understanding of researchers and students of the College of Medicine and life sciences faculties of the fundamentals of immune balance and recent scientific developments in the diagnosis and treatment of immune disorders.
