Training medical students

Medical students continue training at health centres – Week 2
Medical students continue their practical training at health centres for the second week, under the supervision of professors from the Faculty of Medicine/Department of Family and Community Medicine and in collaboration with the Public Health Department at the Wasit Health Directorate.
This week’s training included practical application at the Tayba Model Health Centre, Al-Jihad Health Centre, and Al-Khajia Health Centre. The programme included training on communicable diseases, mental health, nutrition, and child care, in addition to an overview of the work of the laboratory and archive units.
This training aims to enhance students’ expertise, link theoretical aspects to practical application, and develop their understanding of the role of health centres in providing primary health care.
