Strengthening academic cooperation between the Faculties of Medicine at Wasit and Sumer during practical examinations
As part of the joint scientific and academic cooperation between the Faculties of Medicine at Wasit and Sumer Universities, Professor Dr Sadiq Laftah al-Mousawi from the Faculty of Medicine at Sumer University participated as an external examiner in the practical examinations for the Internal Medicine module, which took place at the Faculty of Medicine, Wasit University. This was in line with the memorandum of cooperation between the two faculties, which aims to raise the standard and to foster the exchange of academic and research expertise.
The examinations were attended by Dr Saad al-Badri, a lecturer in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Wasit University. The examinations were conducted in accordance with rigorous academic standards and under the direct supervision of the relevant committees, thereby helping to ensure the quality of the assessment and the achievement of the desired educational objectives.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Administrative Assistant to the Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University, Assistant Professor Dr Salim Rahif Al-Aidi, honoured Professor Dr Sadiq Laftah Al-Mousawi in recognition of his efforts and active participation in the practical examinations, emphasising the importance of continued academic cooperation between the two faculties to serve the academic process and raise the standard of medical education in Iraqi universities
