Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Attends the Mechanical Innovations Festival at Wasit University
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University, Assistant Professor Dr Nasir Kazim al-Maliki, attended the events of the ‘Mechanical Innovations’ Festival organised by the Faculty of Engineering, under the patronage of the President of Wasit University, Professor Abbas Laftah al-Aqabi, under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Dr Thaer Saud Al-Ghasham, and with broad participation from students and academic staff.
The participation of the Faculty of Medicine came as part of its support for joint scientific activities and the promotion of a spirit of cooperation between the university’s faculties. The festival featured a display of outstanding projects and innovations by students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, reflecting an advanced level of scientific and practical skills.
During his visit, Al-Maliki emphasised the importance of such events in developing students’ capabilities and honing their skills, noting the need for integration across scientific disciplines to contribute to community service and the development of the academic environment.
