The College of Medicine at Wasit University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized an updated teaching methods course for medical specialties under the slogan “Towards Blended Learning”, as part of a joint ministerial program with UNESCO, with the aim of developing higher education in Iraq.
The course targets new teachers and employees wishing to obtain a certificate of modern teaching methods, and lasts for three months, including lectures, in-person and online workshops, in addition to theoretical and practical tests covering eight basic topics.
The course is lectured by accredited ministerial trainers in addition to the college’s teachers, including
Prof. Dr. Ghasak Jabr Al-Aqili
Prof. Dr. Areej Sabah
Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Insaf, Scientific Associate at the college, visited the participants to follow up on the achievement of the required objectives and provide support to ensure the success of the course.
This initiative reflects Wasit University’s commitment to developing medical teaching competencies according to the latest international standards, which contributes to improving the quality of medical education in Iraq.
