College of Medicine lecturer publishes new book titled “Therapeutic Health Nutrition” A lecturer at Wasit University’s College of Medicine, Prof. M.M. Jassim Jabara Jassim has published a new scientific book entitled Therapeutic Health Nutrition, which is a valuable addition to the medical and scientific library in the field of therapeutic nutrition and public health.
The book addresses the latest concepts and scientific foundations of healthy nutrition and its importance in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, based on recent studies and research in this field. The book also provides detailed information about different diets and the impact of functional foods on human health, as well as practical guidelines that can be applied by health workers and those interested in nutrition.
The author dedicated his book to Assistant Professor Dr Naseer Kazim Al-Maliki, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University in recognition of his supportive role in the academic and research process and in recognition of his continuous efforts in developing medical education and enhancing the scientific research environment in the college.
Md. Jassim Jabara Jassim stressed that this publication comes within his endeavour to promote correct nutritional awareness and link nutrition to modern clinical treatments, noting that the book will be an important reference for students, researchers and practitioners in the medical field.
The book is currently available in the library of the Faculty of Medicine – Wasit University and will be published electronically in the next phase to generalise the benefit.
